This is the solution that PIÚINFORMA® has developed for locations where it is not possible to activate the collective catering service.
With this service, even small and medium-sized companies can take advantage of the highest quality catering. The offer of the menu is selected with the utmost attention and in line with the quality requirements described in the 10+SANO® and 10+EQUO® specifications. The menu is so designed to offer a balanced diet, and is combined with the presence of consumer accessories, take-away containers, 100% biodegradable and compostable dishes and cutlery made with materials of different origins in compliance with EN 13432. The residual fibers of sugar cane, corn starch and fast-growing plant processing waste, especially sugar cane, bamboo or straw, are examples of renewable sources that are used to give life to these products, certainly much more environmentally friendly and sustainable than the equally widespread plastic cutlery and disposable plastic containers.
The impossible now becomes possible
How it works: just book the menu of the week to receive it by courier. After that, any consumer who has reserved the meal can heat and consume it in the break area or can comfortably take it home.
After being used the dishes can be collected and disposed of in the wet or organic supply chain together with the residues of the meals. One of the peculiar characteristics of each of our installations is the close relationship between nutrition and its environmental impact. We are very attentive to the origin of the raw materials to produce meals, their cooking, the transport chain, and compliance with the specifications of the quality marks 10+SANO® or 10+EQUO®.
The meals are strictly in single portion packaged in microwave-suitable take-away containers and are made at a single cooking center, where a laboratory originally controls meals that will then follow storage and transport at a controlled temperature of 4 degree Celsius. When meals arrive in the companies/institutions, they will be stored in the fridge present in PIÚINFORMA® “CUCINOTTO” structure. After that it will be enough to heat them in the adjacent microwave.
To complete the format, a network water dispenser is installed, which will distribute free water suitably microfiltered, and subsequently made alkaline and ionized.
To reduce the consumption of bottles, we supply tritan® water bottles to the companies that activate this format.
The materials used for the furnishings are 100% triple wave cardboard, virgin, cellulose compound, corn starch and peas or potato starch, all composed of natural products without the use of adhesives, chemicals, or harmful substances (SVHC list). Always with attention to the environmental impact and end of life of our products! Zero Formaldehyde, 100% recyclable.
