The set-up for canteens and for collective catering offered by PIÚINFORMA® is based on a proposal carefully designed and developed in a careful and meticulous way. The offer of the menu, selected with the utmost attention and in line with the requirements contained in the 10+SANO® and 10+EQUO®, is designed for a balanced diet.

Water is the fundamental element for our well-being and for our health!

Thanks to the use of properly microfiltered mains water, and subsequently made alkaline and ionized, it will be possible to have a real alternative to PET bottles.
Our bottles are made of glass or tritan®.

The materials used for the furnishings are 100% triple wave cardboard, virgin, composed of cellulose, corn starch and peas or potato starch. All composed of natural products without the use of adhesives, chemicals or harmful substances (SVHC list), and always with attention to the environmental impact and end of life of our products at Zero Formaldehyde, 100% recyclable.

The cardboard used contains a natural resin that makes it moisture resistant, BFSV certified, and is built with an interlocking system, which allows assembly and disassembly without the use of glues and equipment. With the same materials are made tables and chairs to be inserted inside the canteens or catering facilities. For the most demanding and attentive, themed refreshment areas are created.

The menu is then combined with the presence of particular accessories for consumption: from glasses, plates, cutlery and trays, in fact, each tool is 100% biodegradable and compostable, made with materials of different origins in compliance with the provisions of EN 13432 but most importantly the raw materials comes all from renewable sources. The residual fibers of sugar cane, corn starch and fast-growing plant processing waste (especially sugar cane, bamboo or straw), are examples of renewable sources that are used to give life to these products. They are certainly much more environmentally friendly and sustainable than classic glasses or equally popular disposable plastic cutlery.

Each of our canteen sets is appreciated for the attention paid to the ecological component, thus demonstrating that eco-sustainability can go hand in hand with quality. The glasses after being used, can be collected and shredded on site, in order to ensure regular disposal in the wet supply chain, together with the residues of the meals. Special machinery designed for this purpose is being built to produce compost in even shorter times.

Among the peculiar characteristics of each of our fittings for canteens, there is the close relationship between nutrition and its environmental impact. We are very attentive to the origin of the raw materials for the supply of meals, their cooking, the transport chain, and their compliance with the specification of the quality mark 10+SANO® or 10+EQUO®.

The meals are made at a single cooking center, where a laboratory takes care of the control at the origin, which will then follow the storage and transport at controlled temperature at 4 degree Celsius to arrive in the companies / intact bodies. After that it will be enough for the company that will manage the service to warm them up and serve them.
